I made this Pecha Kucha presentation (10 slides, 20 seconds) for art historian and theorist Alpesh Kantilal Patel’s mentor workshop at Chautauqua Visual Arts.
I really like this form of quick-and-dirty “visual diary” and this captures some aspects of my frustration and anxieties about making art, from reductive construction of identity to food conviviality to monoculture nationalism to distorted representation.
