Horror & Its Uni Verse

@ 2021 New Media Gallery, Jack Straw Cultural Center ︎Seattle, WA

Horror & Its Uni Verse employs horror conventions and glitch with audio and video projections to critique online monetization and capitalism from the perspective of a scene that is incredibly reminiscent of the COVID-19 era.

This piece was first performed in 2020 at Chautauqua Visual Arts during a workshop with mentor and contemporary art historian Alpesh Kantilal Patel.

It was then reconceptualized at Caldera Arts Community Residency and expanded into a full-fledged audiovisual piece during the Jack Straw New Media Gallery Residency.
